ARS CFU-245 Arsenic Removal Solution
The ARS CFU-245 is a modular reactor capable of cost effectively treating up to 250,000 gallons of water per day. These modular units can be configured in multiples allowing treatment of several million gallons of water daily. This modular approach provides for maximum utility and effectiveness while maximizing up time and minimizing any down time due to maintenance. |
Clear Choices
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has classified arsenic as a “Class A” human carcinogen.
The EPA announced a new arsenic standard for safe drinking water. It is estimated that this new standard will impact at least 15% of the water systems in the United States. The standard was revised from 50 parts per billion (ppb) to 10 parts per billion (ppb). At the same time, the agency also established a Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) goal of (0) zero. This new standard must be met by January, 2006.

Million Gallon Per Day Systems Under Construction To be on line by March 2008 12/13/07
Construction is underway on ARS-based arsenic mitigation systems at wells 3 and 4 in Bernalillo NM. These systems are scheduled to be online before March 2008. Each system will process approximately 1 million gallons per day using four ARS electrocoagulation reactors operating in paralell. Well site 4 will be completed first, with the system at well 3 to follow closely.[More] |
